Dr. Andrew Chibuzor ILOH is from the royal family of Ikem, Issele-Azagaba Aniocha North L.G.A Delta State. Had his secondary school education at the Famous Christ the Kings College (CKC) Onitsha and later completed at St. Charles Special Science School also in Onitsha. He is a LION of over 28 years from his days as a LEO at the DELSU Abraka LEO club and currently a member of the Wuse Abuja LIONS club, the Pioneer LIONS club in Abuja.
A B.Sc. Honors degree from the Delta State University, Distinction, Master of Science degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Abuja and a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Ecology and Population genetics from the University of Lagos Nigeria and the Goethe University, Frankfurt Am Main, Germany with Distinction. He is a Professor of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and currently the Director Research in the Biotechnology Advanced Research Centre, Sheda Science and Technology Complex, Abuja. 
He has won many scientific awards including the Climate protection
fellow of the Prestigious Alexander Von Humboldt Foundation,
Germany (2011). An Asoka Foundation fellow for Social
Entrepreneur in Ecology (2015), Tony Elumelu Foundation
Entrepreneur (2016) as well as the Alexander Von Humboldt
Foundation, Germany Post Doctorial Fellowships (2014, 2018,
2020). He is currently the facilitator of the Biodiversity Education
and Resource Centre (BERC), a think Tank Not for Profit Group
which houses a network of scientists with the mandate of carrying
out biodiversity research, education and land rights issues in
Nigeria. The Centre is in the fore front of providing empirical data for
research and awareness on the sustainable utilization of the
Nigerian Biological Resources .
