Skill Acquisition Centre

In line with Lions Clubs International s Youth Development and Education global cause, our district is committed to empowering street kids in Calabar through education and skills acquisition.

The objective of this project is to establish a Skill Acquisition Centre that will provide vocational skills training, basic education, and mentorship to street over 200 street kids annually and empowering them to break the cycle of poverty.

The Skill Acquisition Centre will provide training in employable skills such as tailoring, carpentry, and IT. Offer basic education and life skills. We will  Partner with local organizations and stakeholders to ensure sustainability ans engage mentors to provide guidance and support.

We invite local organizations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors to partner with us in implementing these projects.
