Sir Maurice Okon Ibok

PH.D, PMJF, NLCF

District Governor

Lion Sir Maurice Okon Ibok (MOI) was born on March 23, 1975. He holds a Doctorate

degree in Economics, Master s in Economics, a Post-Graduate Diploma in 

Economics and a Bachelor s degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the 

University of Calabar, Nigeria in 2021, 2015, 2009 and 1999 respectively. He has attended 

various courses both locally and internationally. He is a member of the Chartered Institute 

of Bankers, Nigerian Economic Society, Nigerian Statistical Association, American 

Economic Association and Chartered Institute of Strategic Management. He is a 4th 

degree order of the Chevalier in the Knights of St John International, and a Battalion 

Patron of Boys Brigade Nigeria. Maurice Ibok is also a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow 

(PMJF), Nigerian Lions Charity Foundation Fellow (NLCF), Jerusalem and Vatican Pilgrim 

(JP and VP). 

He was a Pioneer Member of the Governing Board of the Nigerian Electricity 

Management Services Agency representing the South South geopolitical zone of Nigeria 

an appointment by the President - Muhammadu Buhari GCFR and currently the Chief 

Executive Officer of Armese Consulting Limited a division of the Income Electrix Group.

Lion Maurice joined the International Association of Lions Clubs in September 1997 as a 

Leo of Calabar Atakpa then metamorphosed into Calabar Atakpa Lions Club in July 2005. 

Lion MOI has a tremendous passion for service. Lion Maurice is also a certified graduate of 

Advanced Lions Leaders Institute (ALLI) and the Faculty Development Institute (FDI).
