Lion Charles Itu became a member of the Calabar Canaan City Lions Club on January 7th, 2010, marking the beginning of his extensive involvement in various Club and District leadership roles. A distinguished FDI graduate of the Lions Club. Lion Charles Oqua Itu PMJF NLCF is married to Sandra Itu and is the proud father of Iris, Aviva, and Zina Itu. His parents, the late PCC Esinjo Elder Oqua Itu  and PRC Catherine Itu, have been a source of inspiration throughout his life.

In addition to his sterling Lions Club credentials, Lion Charles Itu is an experienced Environmental Geologist who currently holds the position of Assistant Director at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). Beyond his professional achievements, he is recognized as a successful businessman and holds membership in

various prestigious clubs, groups, and associations. Lion Charles Itu s diverse interests include reading, playing chess, wring poetry, entrepreneurship, networking, and being an active member of the Calabar Golf Club. He is also an enthusiastic traveler, having visited over 40 countries around the world.
