Port Harcourt New Garden City Lions carried out a Reading Action Programme

On Wednesday , 22/01/2025, Port Harcourt New Garden City Lions carried out a Reading Action Programme Literacy Project at State Primary School 2, Olanada, Obio Akpor LGA Rivers State in partnership with the Nigerian Library Association. The beneficiaries were the Basic 1 & 2 pupils of the school.The activity consisted of songs, games, reading, comprehension, & a question & answer session. PHNGC donated readers & workbooks which were handed over to the Head Teacher. The pupils also received branded exercise books & writing materials. Everyone shared refreshments. It was a truly rewarding, lovely project.
