The Calabar Cluster Region officially ushered in the 2026/2027 Lions Service Year with an inspiring Crossover Night held from 30th June to 1st July 2026, bringing together Lions and Leos in a memorable celebration of leadership, fellowship, and service.

The event, which ran from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM, was far more than a ceremonial transition into a new service year. It was a powerful gathering marked by heartfelt prayers, uplifting praise and worship, the official transition of leadership, and a renewed commitment to the core values of Lionism.

The occasion was graced by an esteemed assembly of distinguished Lion leaders, including Past District Governors, Region Chairpersons (Past and Present), Zone Chairpersons, Club Presidents, Lions, Leos, and invited guests. Their presence underscored the unity, strength, and shared vision that continue to drive the Lions movement.

Throughout the night, attendees experienced an atmosphere filled with inspiration, joy, meaningful fellowship, and engaging entertainment. Every moment reflected the spirit of collaboration and dedication that defines Lions Clubs International.

As the countdown into the new service year concluded, participants embraced a common purpose under the theme Wired for Service. It was a declaration of readiness to serve communities with greater passion, stronger partnerships, and an unwavering commitment to humanitarian service.

With hearts renewed and vision strengthened, the Calabar Cluster Region looks forward to a year of greater impact, deeper fellowship, and exceptional service to humanity.
