The Abuja Mega Lions Club celebrated a momentous occasion on Saturday, November 1, 2025, as it held its Grand Investiture Ceremony and 5th Anniversary Celebration at Nafil Arcade and Water Park, Abuja.

The event marked a dual milestone, five impactful years of humanitarian service and the official investiture of Lion (Dr.) Charles Bassey as Club President, alongside the installation of his Board of Directors for the 2025-2026 Lions Service Year.

Dignitaries, Lions leaders, partner clubs, and friends of the club gathered to commemorate the achievements of the past five years and to reaffirm their collective commitment to the ideals of Lionism.

In his acceptance speech, Lion (Dr.) Charles Bassey expressed heartfelt appreciation to members for their support and confidence, pledging to lead with passion, unity, and dedication to the mission of serving humanity.

The colourful and well-attended ceremony reflected the strength, pride, and “Mega spirit” that define the Abuja Mega Lions Club, a club renowned for its vibrant service culture and enduring impact in the community.

Highlights of the evening included a 5th Anniversary Documentary, goodwill messages, and the presentation of medals and awards to outstanding members for their contributions to service.
